Jesse Cave, who played Lavender Brown in three “Harry Potter” films, shared in her self-titled substance that her only presence was recently banned from a “Harry Potter” fan convention.
“I recently found out I haven’t been booked for a ‘Harry Potter’ convention. Because I’m currently doing the only thing,” she wrote (via Coridar). “They explained that it was because it was a family show and only fans were affiliated with porn. This was baffling to me because the actors who do conventions (actually most actors) did a film where they did sex scenes and nude.”
The Cave feels she has been “cancelled” from the “Harry Potter” fandom, but added that she is ready to spend time in the magical world and take over the next generation.
“I’m not pissed at the prospect that there’s no more Harry Potter practice,” Cave continued. “We have a new cast now, and that’s a different time. Plus, I’ve been having conventions for over 15 years, with ample photos and wizard memorabilia.”
Cave announced in March that she was launching her only fan page. In an Instagram video, she said she offers “highest quality hair sounds” and “very sensual.” She argued that her only fan “isn’t sexual” in her follow-up look on the podcast “before it breaks again” and appealed to those with hair fetishes, adding that “fetishes aren’t necessarily sexual.”
With her substance, she explained in detail why she decided to join the site. She said, “I’ll try for a year. It’s my purpose. It’s to make the house safe, cover arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof, etc. My purpose to get out of debt. Is my purpose aimed to prove to those who misunderstood me that I’m not that sweet?
Cave first appeared as Lavender Brown in 2009’s Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, recreating his roles in both Deathly Hallows movies. She also appeared in films such as “Great Expectations” and television shows such as “Black Mirror” and “Industry.”
