Jennifer Tilly brought backup to this year’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 15 reunion.
Leaning into the group’s black, white, and gold metallic theme, Tilly certainly stood out in a custom Balmain look that featured a portrait of herself.
The fully beaded, strapless dress proudly featured Tilly’s profile, smiling as she looked into the viewer’s eyes. Her dark hair gives way to a deep brown and black background throughout the look.
In true Tilly fashion, her perfectly shaped beaded eyebrows are slightly raised and a false light source is reflected off her bold red lips.
The 67-year-old actress sported a similar look in real life as she posed with the group in a couture look, telling Bravo, “Rob[Ramsey]did my makeup to look like the front of the dress, so I matched it.”
She wears her hair pulled back with a headband, slicked back and rolled up to her shoulders, “a nod to big ’70s hairstyles.”
Tilly added a touch of sparkle with an Art Deco diamond bracelet stack, as well as a Bvlgari bracelet and ring. Her shoes were Giuseppe Zanotti.
The actress is known for her extensive jewelry collection, so it’s no surprise that she brought the most stately sparkle to group events.
In an interview with Bravo, she said, “I’m wearing a beautiful Balmain dress that was made especially for me, and it has my face painted on the front with millions of beads,” adding, “The dress weighs about 30 pounds.”
As Tilly told the network, its heavy appearance was certainly more art than practical. “You can’t actually sit on it, but it looks great standing up.”
A similar look was first seen on the runway over a year ago as part of Balmain’s Spring 2025 collection.
Just two days later, Kylie Jenner wore a custom version of the look with her face painted on it.
Designer Olivier Rousteing wrote in a press release at the time: “My abiding fascination with intricate decoration is reflected in intricate pearl patterns, photographs and portraits, some of which are striking photorealistic pieces requiring hundreds of thousands of beads and weeks of skilled embroidery.”
This season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been criticized by fans for being “boring,” but cast member Bozoma “Boz” St. John defended the crew on Page Six, saying, “Here’s the thing: There’s always going to be moments of depth, and sometimes that depth doesn’t require a lot of action, because our lives are so real.”
The season 15 reunion is scheduled to air on April 23rd.
