Jennifer Lopez maintained a low-key but glamorous profile on the set of her new Netflix thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish on Friday.
The ‘Jenny from the Block’ hitmaker was photographed rocking a belted cranberry suit dress and wide-brimmed hat while filming an outdoor scene in New York City.
She accessorized with statement sunglasses, black gloves, black and white checkered heels, and carried a chic black alligator handbag. Lopez, 56, completed her look with a dramatic makeup look in deep pink tones and wore her hair in an updo under a hat.
Fans went wild over the mysterious secret look on social media. One person exclaimed, “Look mom!!! 👏❤️,” while another wrote, “My favorite fashionista 😍.”
“Absolutely amazing 😍😍,” gushed a third. A fourth said they were surprised at how quickly Lopez returned to work after Kiss of the Spider-Woman premiered.
“Wow! Her movie just premiered that day and she’s already embarking on her next one! An icon,” they wrote.
Lopez’s appearance comes just days after she reunited with ex-husband Ben Affleck at the red carpet premiere of Kiss of the Spider-Woman on Monday.
The former couple had a friendly and intimate conversation on the red carpet and posed for photos together. At one point, Affleck, 53, put his hand on her waist and guided her around the carpet while modeling a tight-fitting gown with a dramatic spider theme.
The former lovers are both executive producers on the film, which opens in theaters on Friday. Lopez also stars.
Despite their divorce being finalized in January after two years of marriage, the “Air” actor gushed about Lopez, telling Extra that she has an “amazing” and “amazing” talent who “really pulls it all off” in the film.
A source told Page Six on Tuesday that Lopez and Affleck are better friends. A source close to Lopez said, “They love each other even more when they’re not married.”
“They each have their roles: she’s the glamorous, gorgeous diva superstar who stands on a pedestal, and he’s the villain who pushes her away to maintain sexual tension,” they explained.
“As long as they play their roles, they’re perfect. The moment they try to be more than that, especially something as ordinary as a couple, it’s very fateful.”
Lopez and Affleck, who were engaged in 2002, tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022, then tied the knot again the following month in a formal ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia mansion.
