The “Friends” alum’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, gave one of his Instagram followers some advice on how to date later in life, just days before the couple became Instagram official.
During a Q&A on Wednesday, the 50-year-old answered a question about “how to find love at 42.”
He said, “It’s the same as when I was 22 or 32, but I’m more confident, I have more experience, I’m more honest.
“You are not old,” the hypnotherapist continued. “First, love yourself and realize that you are the perfect age and that life doesn’t end at 42. When you’re 62 or 72, you’ll look back at 42 and wish you were that age too.”
Curtis concluded, “So start now, go out, open yourself to love, make eye contact and smile, connect with people, and most importantly, love yourself. When you love yourself, you attract more love.”
Four days later, Aniston posted a touching tribute, making her and Curtis’ romance public.
“Happy birthday my love. I cherish you ❤️,” the 56-year-old actress captioned a black-and-white PDA photo on Sunday.
The upload marks the first time Aniston has published Curtis’ face on her account, but she secretly included him in the September roundup.
“Thank you, Summer,” the Morning Show star captioned a slideshow of snapshots from that sunny day.
Towards the end of the carousel, she showed Curtis on the beach with his back to the camera.
The two were first spotted dating in July when they were photographed on vacation, and have since been spotted on a double date in Malibu and dinner in New York City.
The Golden Globe winner’s last public relationship was with Justin Theroux, whom she was married to from 2015 to 2018.
This is Aniston’s second marriage, as she and ex-husband Brad Pitt married in 2000 and divorced in 2005.
As for Curtis, Bethenny Frankel revealed he was one of her exes in a September TikTok video.
“He’s a handsome, nice guy and seems kind, which I think is a good thing,” she said, explaining that Curtis’ “naivety” matches Aniston’s “simple, gentle side.”
Curtis was previously married to Rachel Napolitano, and the ex-husbands are parents to a teenage son, Aidan.
