Jennifer Aniston praised Jim Curtis shortly after making their relationship official on Instagram.
“Hypnosis is one of the many things he does,” the 56-year-old actress said when asked about her hypnotist boyfriend in a new interview with Elle.
She went on to call Curtis a “very extraordinary person” and said he “helps so many people.”
According to Aniston, the author is both “very special” and “very ordinary.” But most of all, he is “very kind.”
She marveled that Curtis explained that he wanted to “help people heal” and “move clarity through trauma and stagnation,” which was “a great thing to dedicate your life to.”
Aniston kicked off her romance with Curtis earlier this month in honor of his 50th birthday.
She captioned a black-and-white photo of her hugging him from behind: “Happy Birthday, my love. I cherish you ❤️.”
Curtis responded to the online love with a post of his own featuring highlights from his birthday party. “If this is a dream I don’t want to wake up ❤️,” he wrote next to the upload.
In September, Aniston soft-launched their relationship by sharing a photo of Curtis with his back to the camera, looking out at a sunset-lit beach. This image was part of a carousel featuring other summer snaps.
The pair’s coupling first made headlines in July when they were photographed together with the Emmy Award winner’s friends Jason Bateman and his wife on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The following month, the pair were spotted enjoying a double date with Friends co-star Courteney Cox and her boyfriend in Los Angeles.
And in September, the lovebirds were spotted out and about in New York City.
Aniston was previously married to actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, while Curtis was previously married to a woman named Rachel Napolitano. Her ex-girlfriend has a teenage son named Aidan.
