Jenna Ortega is closing the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet.
At the awards ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14th, the 22-year-old Wednesday star put a high fashion spin on the naked dressing trend.
Ortega was surprised by the shirt, made entirely of multi-colored gems and crystals in various shapes and sizes that cover both the front and back. She paired the head tool top with thigh-high slits and a simple black column skirt.
Live from E! : During the 2025 Emmys, style journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi revealed that Sarah Burton Ensemble’s Givenchy had arrived in a box with a co-shaped shaped like a co.
“It’s made of very large gems and there aren’t many other things,” Rassi shared. “This will fill your feed.”

Ortega also appears to have channelled the character of Isabella Rossellini in the 1992 film Death. Rossellini wears a covered top similar to Encher Stress’ Lyle von Lumann.
The Cult Classic also starred Meryl Streep and Goldie Horn. The Broadway adaptation of the film opened in 2024.
Ortega has a history of method dressing. She first dipped her toe into the trend and promoted her Golden Globe nominated role as Adams on Wednesday, but took things to the next level during a press tour of the 2024 film Beatleisure Beatleisure Beatleisure, the much-anticipated sequel to the 1988 cult classic Beatleisure Juice.
She kicked things off with her striped looks nodding as a prestigious character in Michael Keaton’s iconic costume, and along with her stylist Enrique Melendez, she continued to become more and more creative in her ensemble.

In August, the actress appeared in Tom Brown’s plaid skirt and sweater, which was the near-perfect recreation of Winona Rider Lydia Ditz in the film’s memorable final scene. At the Venice Film Festival, Ortega decorated the carpet with a stunning red gown that fans think is a homage to Lydia’s red wedding dress.

At the 81st Venice Film Festival, Ortega was surprised by the red Dior haute couture gown, consisting of a heart-shaped top and pleated bottom. She completed the look with a white gold, pink gold, Dior Joeire’s diamond Boa de Rose necklace, bracelet, ring and matching red make-up look.
Fans were convinced that the ensemble was a reference to Lydia’s iconic red wedding dress.
