Javier Bardem and Mark Ruffalo have signed on as executive producers of Cherien Dabis’ “All That’s Left of You,” Jordan’s official submission for international feature film at the 98th Academy Awards, in addition to debuting the first trailer.

The drama presents Dabis’ third feature after “Amreeka” and “May in the Summer.” Before expanding to select cities on January 9th, they received qualifying runs in Los Angeles starting November 28th, and will be rolling out nationwide in the following weeks.

Set in the occupied West Bank of the 1980s, the story follows a Palestinian teenager insisting his seat in a protest that will change the course of his family’s lives. His mother, Hannan, tells the history that brought them to the moment, and tracks 70 years of evacuation and survival.

“I am thrilled to be involved in two of Javier Bardem and Mark Ruffalo, whom I deeply respect, amplify the urgency and importance of this film,” Davis said in a statement. “‘Everything remains for you” takes the audience in 1948 – the origins of the Palestinian migration – and continues for nearly 80 years with one family, shaped by political forces beyond their control.

Bardem called the film “beautiful, intelligent, deeply moving,” and said, “As an audience, we travel through the memories of one family for three generations, witnessing their unbreakable bonds and unwavering resilience.

Ruffalo praises the project as “deeply human” in its “episode,” reminding viewers that “even in the face of unimaginable losses, our progress is to find the meaning of empathy, sadness, and choose vengeance.” He said, “This film offers another possibility. It moves towards a fairer and more peaceful future towards collective healing. It is an honor to be part of an executive producer at such a critical time.”

“Everything is left for you” is released jointly by a watermelon photo and a vision film.
