Simply put, Jason Kelse wants to be Travis Kelse’s best man.
The former Philadelphia Eagles player told the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast listener on Tuesday that he “hopes” to play a major role in Travis and Taylor Swift’s future weddings.
“I understand,” the retired NFL star (37) removed. “Trav has a lot of friends. I just want to get the opportunity.”
This topic came after Jason erupted about whether “incredibly supportive” Travis and Swift (both 35) existed with each other.
On the co-host, Compton and Taylor Lwan joked that praise sounded like “the best man’s speech.”
Jason pointed out that because he is a “great” and “unselfish” person, he “never lost hope” that Travis would find love.
“I know my brother’s intentions and who he is,” the former center said. “Everything he does will lead to finding someone for all the right reasons and so on.”
As to why Swift existed, ESPN analyst explained: “She fully understands why Travis is such an incredible person. I’m very pleased with them, supporting each other, loving each other and seeing them reach this stage.”
Jason said to his brother, “I want you to have the best, most fulfilled life possible. A big part of that is that you are supposed to get married and raise a family.”
Travis proposed to his Grammy-winning girlfriend last month, and the duo shared their engagement via Instagram on August 26th.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” they captioned the joint announcement.
Jason spoke to him and Travis at a milestone moment last week on his “New Heights” podcast despite the groom’s absence.
“There’s one new news that just hit the waves,” Jason said, sending a “gigantic congratulations” to “suggestions we’ve heard all over the world.”
He joined the Arrowhead Stadium couple on Thursday, performing a pair of Travis’s post-engagement ensemble for his first public appearance as a fiancé.
Swift wore a bridal white at the University of Cincinnati and University of Nebraska games, pairing a Polora Florence sweater vest and a pleated Balenciaga mini skirt.
