Jason Kelse congratulated his brother Travis Kelse on “new news.”
A day after Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor Swift defeated the internet with an announcement of engagement, his brother briefly addressed the milestone moment on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast.
“Before we reach (the episode), there’s one new news that just hit the waves,” the 37-year-old began at the beginning of the episode.
“We recorded this podcast on Monday. This was Travis’ day off so he’s not here to deal with this himself, but as a team here at ‘New Heights’, I felt it was necessary to send a huge congratulations to Travis and Taylor who got engaged together! ”
The former Philadelphia Eagles Center continued as the rest of the crew cheered.
Travis, 35, got off on one knee “a few weeks ago,” Page 6 reported Tuesday.
The romantic suggestion was made in a garden similar to the background of one of Swift’s “lovers” photo shoots.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” the couple, who have been an item since 2023, captioned their joint Instagram post.
Carousel featured a close-up look of the co-designed Ring Travis.

The social media uploads are set to “So High School,” and the pop star wrote about Travis in 2024.
Fans surprised this hidden detail, gushing out that it was revealed “more magical” via X.
It is unclear whether the couple got engaged before or after Swift, whether 35 made their podcast debut with “New Heights” and released their upcoming album “The Life of a Showgirl.”
In addition to discussing her music, the “Wildest Dreams” singer looked back at Travis, who took the shot with her on an episode of the July 2023 show.
At the time, the Super Bowl winner complained about his failure to provide Swift with a phone number on one of her ERAS tour shows.
Swift jokingly compared “Wild Romantic Jesture” with “Man-Tantrum” earlier this month, saying “Crazy” Travis had made the podcast his “personal dating app.”
The Grammy winner said, “This is like I’ve written songs about how I wanted to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
Before Swift made the appearance of the viral “New Heights,” Travis repeatedly revealed details about his romance with listeners.
The show took a short break in July, with Wednesday’s episode marking the premiere of Season 4.
