Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar’s eldest daughter Jana Duggar became a mother last month.
The “Counting On” alum gave birth to her and husband Stephen Whisman’s first child, a son named Archie, on Dec. 30.
“It took us a little while to get used to our new rhythm before we shared this wonderful news 🤍,” the new mom gushed on Instagram on Friday. “Our hearts have been completely changed. We are soaking in these early days and are filled with love, wonder, and so much gratitude.”
The former reality star showed off her baby bump over the summer, telling her Instagram followers how “excited” she was.
“In January 2026, we will add a little joy to our family,” Jana revealed her pregnancy in August, captioning the post on Instagram.
“We are counting down the days and looking forward to starting this thrilling new chapter in our lives,” she concluded.
The “19 Kids and Counting” alumnus hugged and kissed her husband, 32, on his stomach in a post uploaded to social media.
Jana’s sisters gushed over her announcement in the comments section at the time.
Jessa Duggar wrote, “Can’t wait to meet this baby!!🥰,” and Jill Duggar added that the couple is “so excited.”
The following month, Jana reached the halfway point of her pregnancy, writing, “I’m halfway through my pregnancy and I’m still in awe! It just went by so fast! I’m loving feeling the little heartthrobs these days!”
The former reality star and sister-in-law Abbie Duggar teamed up to reveal the gender of their baby in November, with the former due to give birth to a boy.
“It was a pleasure to share this special moment,” Jana wrote of Abbey, who has a daughter with husband John David Duggar.
Wisman married in August 2024 in Arkansas.
Two months after the private pilot got down on one knee, the two walked down the aisle.
He and Jana briefly dated from 2020 to 2022 and got back together in early 2024.
