Irina Shayk has revealed that she and Bradley Cooper are restricting their daughter Léa de Seine’s access to the internet to protect their reputation.
The 8-year-old has a “clear understanding” of Sheik and the “American Sniper” star’s respective careers, and making sure she “feels comfortable” is a top priority, the model said in an interview published Monday.
“She has very little digital access, almost zero,” she shared, explaining that she wants Leah to focus on “building community, making friends, and just giving love.”
Sheikh, 39, added: “The best thing you can give your child is to raise him in a loving family.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the actress revealed that she is teaching Leah self-love as she tries to “preserve” herself in a world with “so many beauty standards.”
Shayk and Cooper, 50, began dating in 2015 and welcomed their daughter together in March 2017.
Although the former couple split in 2019, they have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship over the years.
The Victoria’s Secret model and the “A Star Is Born” actor have been spotted going on family vacations and celebrating Halloween together.
But Cooper has said little about raising his daughter, last speaking in 2023, saying he wanted to learn from his father’s mistakes and “let his daughter take some of the burden off of (his) bull.”
Leah has already followed in her famous father’s footsteps and made her acting debut in the 2023 film Maestro.
In the film, she plays the young child of composer Leonard Bernstein, played by Cooper.
Upon the film’s release, Leah made her red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere alongside her lead role in The World’s One Playbook.
At the time, she was all smiles while holding hands with Cooper.
Meanwhile, Cooper has been dating model Gigi Hadid since 2023.
That same year, Shayk began an on-and-off relationship with NFL alumnus Tom Brady.
