Amazon Prime Video has released the first teaser for the upcoming “Invincible” Season 4, which is scheduled to premiere at New York Comic Con in March 2026. One of the comic book series’ most dangerous villains has also been cast, with Lee Pace voicing the evil Viltrumite Slug.
“Invincible” Season 3 aired for eight episodes in February 2025, with an early renewal for Season 5 at San Diego Comic-Con in July. It was also revealed that Matthew Rhys will be voicing an unknown character in Season 4.
After a nearly three-year hiatus between the show’s first two runs (plus an unpopular mid-season hiatus in its second season), Season 3 brought the show back on track, thrilling fans with its ultra-violent superhero action and compelling comic book storylines.
Season 3 ended with some cliffhangers for Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, played by Steven Yeun. He survived War of the Invincible, in which space-hopping villain Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown) conscripted an invincible army from another dimension to wage war on Earth. The most powerful Invincible saves the day, but Rex Splode (Jason Mantzoukas) is killed and several heroes are seriously injured. It is revealed that Angstrom Levi also survived by teleporting to another universe.
Just as the world is being rebuilt, a deranged Viltrumite named Conquest (voiced by Ewan’s former Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) arrives on Earth to investigate the Invincibles’ takeover of Earth, which has yet to begin. The two engage in a fierce battle, and Mark’s girlfriend Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) also gets caught in the crossfire. Just when Conquest seems to have dealt a fatal blow to both Eve and Invincible, Eve’s powers rebuild her body and neutralize the evil Viltrumite. With Conquest defeated, Invincible reveals that he intends to take a more pro-killing stance in order to defeat the villain. Also, the alien Sequid army is slowly forming, Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins) has secretly imprisoned Conquest, the battle-hungry Battle Beast is alive and well, and demonic detective Damian Darkblood is summoning hellish monsters to fight the Invincibles.
