“Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie has a close-knit family on the air.
The journalist is the youngest of Nancy and Charles Guthrie’s three children, and has two children with her husband, Michael Feldman.
In February 2026, the Daytime Emmy Award winner’s mother became the subject of a missing persons investigation.
Savannah said in a statement at the time: “On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, our focus is on the safe return of our beloved mother.”
Nancy and Savannah’s other loved ones have been personalities on NBC’s “Today” show for years.

Savannah’s Mom: Nancy Guthrie
When the couple welcomed Savannah in December 1971, Nancy and her husband were living in Melbourne, Australia, but two years later the family moved to Tucson, Arizona.
She was a homemaker to Savannah and her two older children, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie.
While celebrating Nancy’s 78th birthday on Instagram in January 2020, Savannah gushed that her mother was an “example” of what a parent should be.
Two years later, Savannah described her “selfless” mother as someone who “consistently did the right thing and the hard thing” and was “well-read” and “curious…a truth-teller.”
Nancy was of “sharp insight” and “sound mind” when she failed to show up for church on February 1, 2026 and was declared missing.
Police found a “very disturbing” scene at her home and later said: “She did not leave on her own.”
She was suffering from a physical illness and as the search progressed, she became in desperate need of medication.
Savannah’s father: Charles Guthrie
Nancy was widowed at the age of 46 when her husband, who worked as a mining engineer, died of a heart attack.
He died when Savannah was a senior in high school, and the former lawyer reflected on the “shocking” tragedy on Hoda Kotb’s podcast, Making Space, in 2024.
At the time, she remembered her father as a “wonderful, charming, funny, charismatic, incredibly loving, warm, kind and patient person.”
Savannah’s siblings: Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie
Savannah has an older brother, Camron Guthrie, and an older sister, Annie Guthrie.
Cam’ron is a former F-16 pilot, and Savannah praised her brother’s retirement in an Instagram post in August 2018.
“I have never been more proud of my brother,” she told her followers. “He has flown for our country for 26 years and continues to proudly serve in the Vermont Air National Guard, the Green Mountain Boys. He is the pride of our family and one of the finest men in this country.”
Annie appeared on the Today show in 2017 and spoke passionately about her bond with Savannah.
“My sister and I are like the sun and the moon,” she said at the time. “Her sorrow is my sorrow, and her success is my success.”
Savannah’s ex-husband: Mark Orchard
Savannah’s first marriage took place in 2005 with former BBC journalist Mark Orchard.
After the former couple separated in 2009, Savannah told listeners of Hoda Kotb’s Making Space podcast in January 2026 that she “felt like a failure.”
In last year’s episode of Reclaiming, Savannah admitted that it “took me years to recover” from her “heart-shattering” and “horribly sad” divorce.
She did not reveal details about the breakup, but said, “I’m not blaming anyone, but I don’t want to get too involved.”
Savannah’s husband: Michael Feldman
The same year that Savannah and Orchard’s divorce was finalized, she began dating Feldman.
The two got engaged in May 2013 during a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands, but Savannah later admitted that she dumped Feldman the same day he got down on one knee.
She explained on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in 2025 that she believed they should “let each other go” because the political consultant still hadn’t popped the question despite being together for about six years.
A few hours later, Feldman surprised his then-“crying” girlfriend with a proposal.
They walked down the aisle in March 2014 in Arizona.
The couple then welcomed daughter Vale in August 2014 and son Charles Charlie in December 2016.
On their 10th wedding anniversary in 2024, Savannah revealed on Instagram that she loves her partner “now and forever.”
Children of the Savannah: Vale Guthrie Feldman and Charles “Charlie” Max Guthrie Feldman
Upon Vail’s arrival in August 2014, Savannah appeared on the Today show and said that she had “found heaven in a small hospital room in New York City.”
Two years later, Bale’s baby brother was born, and Savannah tweeted: “So grateful. So many blessings. With tears of joy.”
Savannah debuted her puppy Fetch in December 2024.
