Influencer Jess Harrell passed away at the age of 42.
The family of content creators shared the news in a post on their Instagram account on Saturday, August 30, writing that Harrell “died last Friday after his battle with cancer.”
Living in London, the internet personality was known to over 94,000 Instagram followers for her lifestyle and interior design content, and regularly shared home transformations, family vacations and favorite recipes.
“Her positive energy was contagious, and her family and friends loved her wholeheartedly and were around her,” Harrell’s family wrote on Instagram, reminiscing about the late influencer. “Even after working on this horrible illness for over eight years, people couldn’t believe how positive and strong she was. Most people didn’t even know that Jess was carrying this with her.

The post continued: “We have broken hearts and she will be remembered forever.
Harrell was survived by her young son and daughter, as well as her husband David, who married in 2011. The pair first met at school and dated for 11 years before tying the knot.
According to her Instagram early in her life, the content creator worked for national newspapers, but she welcomed her daughter to start a popular interior design blog, Gold Gold.
On Instagram, David shared an emotional homage to his late wife on Instagram, the day her family shared news of her death and the day she celebrated her 14th wedding anniversary.

“Happy Anniversary Leader Lin. I can’t believe we didn’t turn 14, but I have been blessed with the most incredible 25 years and seeing you. I’ll sleep a tight XXX,” he writes.
In a comment on Hurrell’s Instagram account, fans of content creators shared the meaning of Agriculture Dol after learning the tragic news.

“Jess you are so loved in this community that you will be so overlooked. I am heartbroken by this news. I will send all my love to your beautiful family.
