“October really took a toll on me mentally, emotionally, and in ways I never saw coming,” he wrote in an Oct. 31 post. “Some days it felt heavy and some lessons were too hard, but I kept going. I learned about patience, discipline, and the strength that only comes during life’s trials.”
In a Nov. 10 post, he addressed his silence on social media, writing that his friends were asking why he had “disappeared” online and “in life.”
“Everything felt so loud that I couldn’t keep up anymore. The things that brought me joy started to feel heavy, and even the simplest moments lost their luster,” Damisa explained. “So I stepped away and took a break long enough to breathe and remember who I was beneath all the noise until I felt alive again.”
In the comments of his Dec. 29 post, friends and followers shared their tributes to the late internet star.
“Rest in peace brother 🕊️ I hope you find peace,” another posted.
