The Mundo Pixar Experience, a multi-sensory exhibition featuring the animation studio’s most famous films, is scheduled to open at Wembley Park on 13 February 2006.
Following its widely acclaimed success in Brazil, Mexico, Belgium and Spain, which welcomed over 3.2 million visitors, the Mundo Pixar Experience is coming to the UK for the first time. It will also be released ahead of next year’s new Pixar films, “Hopper” in March and “Toy Story 5” in June.
Set in a purpose-built venue at Wembley Park, the exhibition will cover over 3,500 square meters and showcase 14 Pixar worlds, including over 25 sculptures. Guests can explore recreated environments from Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Cars, Finding Nemo, Inside Head, Coco, Up, and more. According to organizers, each space “combines detailed set design, ambient music, and specially crafted scents to immerse visitors in Pixar’s most beloved stories.”
The London edition, presented by Golden Peak Live Entertainment in collaboration with Proactive Entertainment, RG Live, Cembla and Luna, includes a brand new room created especially for this stop on the world tour. In addition to Andy’s room, attractions such as the horror floor from Monsters, Inc. will also appear. and Riley’s emotional home in “Inside Head 2.”
Beyond the immersive set, guests will participate in a special Pixar Ball Treasure Hunt to find the famous yellow ball with a red star hidden throughout the exhibit. This is a reference to an Easter egg that appears in many Pixar movies.
