The animated series “Hulk Hogan’s Rock’n’Wrestling” will appear on the WWE Vault YouTube channel.
WWE launched episodes of the The Cult Classic Cartoon series, which aired between 1985 and 1986, airing every Saturday morning in a batch of four episodes on WWE Vault. The episode airs chronologically and drops at 6am, 8am, 10am, and 12pm (Et all hours).
“Hulk Hogan’s Rock’n’ Wrestling” featured a group of babyface (good guy) wrestlers who face off against Hogan and a group of heels (bad guys) led by “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a variety of intense situations.
Other wrestlers included Andre the Giant, the waste dog, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Iron Shake, and Bobby “Brain” Henan. Average Gene Okellland was also a character in the series. Interestingly, due to travel schedules, the wrestlers did not offer their own voice on the show, as Brad Garrett offers Hogan’s voice.
The first four episodes on the YouTube channel are “Junkyard 500/Junkenstein”, “The Fourged Pickpocket”, “Clean Gene/Andre’s Giant Issues” and “Gorilla My Dreams.” 26 episodes were created in total.
News about the show that will be featured in WWE Vault has been over a month since Hogan, whose real name was Terry Borea, passed away at the age of 71 in Clearwater, Florida.
WWE Vault was released on YouTube in June 2024 and currently has nearly 3 million subscribers. The channel had grown to over 217 million viewers per month at that time, with 12.7 million viewing times.
The channel combines previously invisible footage, classic matches, long-form compilations with reused documentaries and home videos from WWE’s large library. There will also be live streams of classics and unprecedented events. WWE also allows fans to vote for both which matches they will post and for posting for fan suggestions.
