Chubi is again taking part in Grid Iron Action with parent company Fox.
Tubi, a free, ad-supported streaming service, will stream this year’s Thanksgiving NFC North Showdown – pitting the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions – lives in 4K resolutions upscaled for free.
The NFL’s annual John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration begins on Thursday, November 27th by 1pm. Packers-Lions games are available on Fox Sports App, Fox Deportes, Fox One (via subscription or Pay-TV provider authentication) and Tubi with Fox Broadcasting. The game’s Tubi live stream features local ads from Fox stations. Last year’s Thanksgiving day game at Fox, when the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants with a score of 27-20, was 2024’s most viewed regular season NFL game with an average of 38.8 million viewers.
Chubi also streamed the 2025 Super Bowl for free, which aired on Fox. In addition to offering the most streamed Super Bowl with over 24 million unique audiences across game day programming, Fox Sports and Tubi set records with an average of 13.6 million viewers and 15.5 million peak audiences during the game.
In June, Tubi announced it had over 100 million monthly active users. The service promotes a collection of nearly 300,000 films and TV episodes in the United States, including the original collection. All are free to use with advertising. Fox Corp. acquired Tubi in 2020.
