Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is reportedly worried about him following his car crash and DUI arrest last Friday.
The former Swedish model, who was married to Woods for six years before divorcing in August 2010, is “concerned” about her ex-husband after his fourth car accident, People reported.
“The kids are good friends with Tiger, so of course Erin is concerned about him. She wants him to get well,” a source told the outlet, referring to the two children they share, daughter Sam, 18, and son Charlie, 17.
“Both children are very good and love spending time with their father. Erin is worried that her father has had another car accident and has been arrested.”
Officials say Nordegren just wants the best for Woods.
“[Erin]just wants him to make the choices that are best for him,” the source explained. “It’s about being there for his health and for the kids.”
Page Six has reached out to Woods’ representatives for comment.
Nordegren famously rescued Woods in November 2009 after his Cadillac Escalade crashed into a neighbor’s tree outside his Isleworth home in Windermere, Florida.
The intense scrutiny he underwent after the accident, while under the influence of sleeping pills, revealed multiple infidelities during his marriage to Nordegren, leading to their divorce in 2010.
He subsequently issued a statement apologizing sincerely for his affair and was admitted to a facility specializing in sex addiction.
Woods, 50, is currently dating Vanessa Trump, 48, who is reportedly “not at all happy” with his latest arrest.
“To be honest, she’s disappointed and a little angry,” a source close to the couple told the Daily Mail over the weekend.
“This was a clear red flag and she told him she was going to resolve this issue and that she was going to demand it,” the source added. “He has to keep things under control or she can’t stay there.”
Trump and Woods have been in a relationship since March of last year. Sources have opened up about the couple’s relationship, telling People that the pair are “in love” but insist the golfing legend needs some inner work to make their relationship work.
“They are a passionate couple,” the source said. “Seriously, Tiger hasn’t yet looked in the mirror and said, ‘I’m 50 years old and I need to act like one.’
