She’s in an age where she doesn’t care about anything.
Page Six reported that Taylor Swift, who is planning her wedding to fiancé Travis Kelsey, is enjoying life with the NFL star, friends and family despite being embroiled in Blake Lively’s legal drama.
In fact, we hear that the 36-year-old pop superstar has no interest in the legal battle as he feels it “doesn’t concern him”.
Private text messages between Lively and Swift have been made public as part of Lively’s ongoing sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
This situation created a noticeable rift between the women, who were once inseparable.
The messages’ release comes after it was revealed that Lively had bragged about their relationship with Baldoni, 42, calling Swift one of her “dragons.”
Baldoni denied Lively’s claims and accused Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds of blackmailing her so she could lose control of her films.
Lively admitted that while Baldoni was attending a pre-production meeting in April 2023, he sent a revised copy of the script to Swift, who was on her way to the actress’ home. According to published documents, Lively asked Swift for her “help” in convincing the “stupid director” to accept her proposal.
“I’d do anything for you!!” Swift responded, continuing to praise the script during the meeting.
Lively then told Swift, “You were so heroic today. You’re making fun of me and the lenses. And you’re calling yourself my doll. This clown is into everything… You’re the absolute best friend in the world.”
Swift, who is godmother to Lively and Reynolds’ daughters, responded via email: “I won the lottery. You’re the coolest person in the world and you love me!!”
In April 2024, four months before the film was released, Lively sent Swift a link to a trailer that included one of her songs.
“If Justin was strategic, he wouldn’t be like Taylor Swift in the trailer, because that would give him more power over the movie. It’s not on his side, it’s on your side,” the singer responded in part.
In early December 2024, when rumors of Lively and Baldoni’s on-set feud were already dominating the headlines, she sent Swift a text “checking in” on their friendship status and wondering if everything was okay.
“I’ve been feeling like a bad friend lately, because for months I’ve been a very sad person who only talks about myself. You’ve been generous and not only important to me all those years, but you’ve also freed me from being so obsessed,” she wrote in part.
In response, Swift acknowledged that Lively was “not wrong” to feel that way, but insisted it was “no big deal.”
She noted that there had been a “slight change” in the way Lively spoke “in recent months.”
“Yes, there was a lot about Justin, but I’ve been through this before and I know how draining it is,” she added, noting that Lively’s recent messages look like “a mass corporate email sent to 200 employees.”
In short, she said she just missed her friends.
Later that month, just before Lively filed her lawsuit, Swift referenced an interview in which Baldoni claimed to have been sexually traumatized by an ex-lover, sending Lively a message saying, “I think this woman knows something is going to happen because she pulled out that little violin.”
“This is so disgusting and I hate how smart he is about this,” Swift wrote about Baldoni being honored at a women’s event. “He needs to be defeated on his own terms.”
After Lively’s accusations made headlines, Swift praised her, saying, “You won. You made it. … And you helped so many people who will never have to go through this again.”
“We’ve never seen a cancellation so quickly. You don’t realize how unusual this is. We’ve prepared the evidence and taken the perfect measures to bring the truth to light.”
In January 2025, Mr. Baldoni countersued Mr. Lively and Mr. Reynolds for defamation and extortion, which were later dismissed.
Lively’s lawsuit is scheduled to be heard in May, with Baldoni’s lawyers arguing that his interactions with Swift show Baldoni is using her powerful endorsement to influence both production and perception.
As for Swift, her rep has denied any involvement in the affair or the film, but Page Six previously reported that she plans to marry Kelsey this summer.
