Sabrina Carpenter held a VMA after-party in New York City last night. She wore a vintage Bob McKee bodysuit in a car wash skirt originally worn by Cher in 1975.
Sabrina Carpenter owned the night at the 2025 MTV VMA. After her stunning Valentino moments with a red carpet and dynamic “tears” performance, the pop star hosted her own Sabrina54 afterparty.
Take this opportunity, the man’s best friend singer slid into a vintage Bob McKee Halterneck bodysuit. The gorgeous crepe design features turquoise panels that flow into mirror-filled skirts of black, pink and turquoise panels. Completed the look, Carpenter wore a gorgeous Earth Lab Diamond Hoop Earring and a Blue Topaz Cocktail Ring.
Carpenter had stars like Drag Queen Willambury. Her Sabrina54 theme was a modern take on a famous 70’s nightclub studio.
Not a stranger to evoke the old Hollywood style, Carpenter spent a big night and brought home three VMAs for the best pop artist, best visual effects (“ManChild”), and Album of the Year (Short N’Sweet).
During her acceptance speech for Album of the Year, she reflected on her power to create inspirational music.
“This world can be full of criticism, discrimination and negativity, as we all know,” she said. “So, to be a part of something often, it’s something that can bring you light, make you smile, make you dance and make the world feel like your shitty oyster. I’m so grateful.”
