Joe Alwyn reportedly “reaching out and he too” to congratulate his ex-girlfriend after his engagement to Travis Kelse.
However, sources insisted in the Daily Mail Friday that actor 34 “really wants that she’s in a good place and doing well.”
The insider added: “He feels that it’s not necessary and doesn’t want to hear from him anyway.
“He’s not thinking about her consistently anymore,” the outlet continued, calling Kelse’s suggestion “the last nail of every thought.”
Alwyn and Swift representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The former couple began dating in the fall of 2016, and six years later the news broke that the news called it quits.
Swift, 35, moved briefly in 2023 with 1975 frontman Matty Healy.
That summer she began dating Kelse after the Kansas City Chiefs used his “New Heights” podcast to shoot shots.
The Super Bowl winner went down on one knee earlier this week and shared a photo of the proposal in a joint Instagram post.
“Your English teacher and gym teacher are married,” the duo captioned a fantastic garden snap.
Swift and Kelse first appeared as engaged pairs at the University of Nebraska and the University of Cincinnati game at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday.
The day before, Alwyn was found in London wearing a striped blue sweater, jeans and a baseball cap.
The “Conversation with Friend” star urged “others” to move on from his breakup earlier this year in an interview with The Guardian, explaining how he ignored Swift’s hatred.
“I tried to focus on controlling what I could control,” Alwyn said in January. “And from the start, I tried to focus on things that meant to me, such as friends, family, work.”
