Jason Bateman is ready for what comes his way!
The 56-year-old actor can be seen running around New York City and fighting offensive loan sharks in the new Netflix series Black Rabbit.
Speaking only to people at the show’s premiere in New York City, Bateman says he didn’t receive any special training to prepare for the action sequence.
“There’s no specific workout, but there’s a lot of stretching,” he says.
“Our old guys need to make sure everything is loose,” the Emmy winner adds with a laugh.

The crime thriller, created by Zack Bailin and Kate Sussman, takes place in New York City and follows two brothers. Jude Law plays Jake Friedken, the charismatic owner of a prestigious restaurant and bar, while Bateman plays Vince Friedken. After all, Vince owes $140,000 to his debtor and needs the help of his brother.
The summary bullies the show “a driving thrill ride and character exam about how the unbreakable bond between two siblings crushes their world and how everything on its trajectory is crushed.”
Bateman also produces a series with partner Michael Costigan under a tally film with laws with Ben Jackson for Riff Rough Entertainment.
At the same event, Law tells people about his first impression of Bateman. “To be honest, for about a year and a half, we just met on Zoom when we were in the writing room or when we took notes and gave notes about the script during development,” he shares Ozark Alum.
He praises Bateman for giving him “great notes” throughout the process of creating the show and doing things “incredibly sharp (and) funny.”
“I knew he was funny and clever,” he gushed. “He’s Jason Bateman.”

On the topic of physical training, the British actor compared the sport with Bateman in an exclusive interview with people at the Toronto International Film Festival. “It’s very hard to explain. It’s like you’re playing a sport, but you’re not trying to beat other people, but you’re trying to raise their game,” the law said.
“And you said, ‘If I went this far, am I allowed to do this? Are you allowed to do that?” It was pretty clear that we were on the same page,” he continued.

Black Rabbit also stars Troicotool, Amacaucafo, Cleopatra Colman, Gusbernie, Morgan Spector and Odessa Young. The Bateman will then be displayed on the screens of the Zootopia 2 and the HBO series DTF St. Louis.
