“Spartacus: House of Ashur” has an official premiere date.
Starz has announced that the sequel series will debut on December 5th with the first two episodes. New episodes can then be streamed weekly on Fridays on Starz app and on all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms only.
Additionally, Starz has released a series of new first look images from the series. This can be shown below:
The official logline for the series is as follows:
“What if Assur (Nick E. Tarabai) lives and the Romans reward the once-bleed Gladiator School and his betrayal? Sin, it’s currency. He is eager to prove himself worthy in his person’s world by unleashing Aquilia (Tenka Davis).
The cast of the series, along with Tarabai and Davis, includes Graham McTavish with Collis, Jordi Weber as Tarchen, Jamaican Vaughn as Hirara, Ivana Baquero as Messiah, Claudia Black as Costia, Claudia Black as India Show Smith, Bilidia, Jamson Gallagher and Jackson Gallagher as Jame Slater.
Steven S. Deknight, creator, author and executive producer of “Spartacus,” serves as showrunner and executive producer of “House of Ashur.” Rick Jacobson and Aaron Helving also serve as executive producers. “Spartacus: House of Ashur” is produced by Lionsgate Television.
“Spartacus” originally debuted on Starz in 2010, and officially titled the first season “Spartacus: Blood and Sand.” The series was followed by the 2011 first series, “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena,” the 2012 season, “Spartacus: Vengeance,” and in 2013, “Spartacus: War of the Damned.”
