Hoda Kotb’s kids are excited about spooky season.
On Halloween, Kotb, 61, shared a photo of her daughters Haley, 8, and Hope, 6, dressed up in costumes.
In the Instagram photo, Hailey wore a black and yellow Pittsburgh Steelers cheerleader outfit. Her sister, on the other hand, wore a purple fairy costume.

This isn’t the first time Kotub and the girls have dressed up for Halloween.
Last year, Kotb wore a pumpkin orange jumpsuit and her daughters also dressed as cheerleaders. Hope chose a blue cheerleader outfit and Haley wore a purple cheerleader uniform. This was the first holiday the group celebrated since leaving New York City and moving to Westchester.
Speaking to PEOPLE in August 2024, Kotb opened up about her family’s move to the suburbs.

“We want our kids to feel the grass on their feet, play in the garden, ride their bikes down the street, and go up and down the stairs,” she said. “I just see their lives in this perfect home in this beautiful little town where I know they can blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.”
When the family still lived in New York City in 2023, they still dressed up for Halloween. That year, Kotb wore a rainbow costume with knee-high rainbow socks, sunglasses, and red lenses.
Meanwhile, Hope wore a colorful one-piece suit with butterfly wings. Hayley wore a Wicked-inspired Glinda the Good Witch dress and crown.
Last month, Kotb appeared on the podcast Open Book with Jenna and opened up about being an elderly parent.

“I’ve thought a lot about being an older mother,” Kotb said. “It was interesting. I was just reading something and, you know, a lot of mothers start out at 20, 25, 30, even 35 years old with no idea who they are. You’re passing on the values of your parents to your children. You’re just doing what we all do.”

“Sometimes when people say, ‘Oh, you’re an older mom,’ it kind of hurts me, even if it’s true,” she continued. “I’m 61 years old with a third grader and a first grader. Anyway, I’m kind of sitting on the fact that I’ve come in with wisdom now.”
