OGS is the best ruler at this year’s Project Runway Season 21. Supermodel and Emmy winner Heidi Krum has returned to the Jury Committee with Editor-in-Chief Elle, Nina Garcia, a duo that fans have loved since the series premiered in 2004.
The two are now gathering to celebrate the season finale.
Klum, who will be appearing on Project Runway for the first time since 2017, and Garcia, the show’s flagship, have been friends for about 30 years. Their relationship began with Elle. “I’ve been in a lot of Elschutes, but I’ve always been with Zilbensimon (former El International Creative Director),” Krum tells Garcia in the video above. “You, Elle, and Jill, I’ve always been cataloguing, so it really gave me the opportunity to model fashion magazines.”
Their friendship continues throughout many seasons of the project’s runway and multiple Elcaucas. From being a proud mom to having an insider’s perspective on the fashion industry, the two have many similarities. “You were the first on set and the last one,” Garcia said of their television experience. “You’ve never complained.”
“Definition” introduces Garcia to chat with some of his famous friends, including Klum, Belinda, Kelsea Ballerini, and Rauw Alejandro, and dives into the experience of making these stars, from their careers to their personal lows.
Above, Krum and Garcia discuss their bonds, within and outside of modeling, and why Krum has returned to the project runway for this new season.
