Like a mother, like a daughter!
This year, Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni Klum proved that the apple doesn’t fall far from the spooky tree by following in the footsteps of her Halloween-loving mother and donning an elaborate costume.
Leni attended her supermodel mother’s Halloween party in New York City on Friday, October 31st, bringing a colorful vibe to the annual bash with a look inspired by David Shannon’s A Bad Case of Stripes. The 21-year-old model played the role of Camilla Cream, the children’s book protagonist who was unexpectedly covered in rainbow stripes.
The vibrant look included what appeared to be head-to-toe body paint that mimicked Camila’s surprise stripes. Leni completed her outfit with a wig that mimicked Camila’s dark, curly hair, and wore the character’s most iconic outfit, complete with a white tank top and oversized hair bow.

She wore white socks and slippers and carried a picture book with her for reference.
Although similarly intense, Leni’s looks tended to be more creepy than cute, in sharp contrast to her mother Heidi’s costumes, which were inspired by old stories.
For this year’s party, the 52-year-old, hailed as the Queen of Halloween, transformed into Medusa with moving snakes in her hair. Meanwhile, her husband Tom Kaulitz was dressed as a Greek soldier who was turned to stone by a mythical figure.

Leni first teased the costume on her Instagram Stories with a close-up of her partially completed striped body paint, where she also showed off her full rainbow look in a funny clip.
The model debuted a look inspired by Stripes in a video lip-syncing to Amanda Seyfried’s lines as Karen Smith in Mean Girls. “I can’t go out. I’m sick,” Leni said from her bed, imitating Seyfried’s cough.
She also shared a recreation of the book cover on her Instagram Stories, lying in bed with a thermometer in her mouth, and posted a snap from her makeup chair on her feed.
Leni captioned the pouty Halloween photo: “I can’t go out, I’m not feeling well 🤧.”

Meanwhile, Heidi captioned the full Medusa post on Instagram: “Congratulations Heidi Win🐍Don’t stare too much or you’ll turn to stone🖤.”
Heidi is the mother of four children with her ex-husband Seal (62). In addition to Leni, the former couple also have sons Henry, 20, Johann, 18, and daughter Lou, 16.
