Heidi Klum, is that you?
The 52-year-old supermodel has outdone herself once again this year, appearing in an unrecognizable costume, further cementing her status as the Queen of Halloween.
Klum dressed up as the mythical Medusa and debuted her transformation at New York City’s annual Halloween party on Friday, October 31st. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, was dressed as a Greek soldier turned to stone. According to Greek mythology, anyone who looks at the terrifying Medusa will be turned to stone.

Despite being turned to stone by her gaze, Kaulitz told those on the red carpet that she found Klum’s outfit “sexy.”
“I think he looks really hot,” Klum added of her husband’s costume.
Klum showed off the outfit on her Instagram Reel, with the caption: “Congratulations Heidi Win🐍Don’t stare too much or you’ll turn to stone.”
Klum’s latest complex costume featured a long tail and a moving snake in place of hair. she hissed at the assembled red carpet photographers, pointing a bow and arrow at them as they took pictures.
Klum began sharing photos and videos of her intricate makeup process early Friday morning, tagging makeup designer Mike Marino and crediting her. Marino has been nominated for an Oscar three times for his roles in The Batman, Coming 2 America, and A Different Man. He also won an Emmy Award for transforming Colin Farrell into the Penguin.

In classic Klum fashion, she doesn’t take the easy way out. Rather, she goes all out with her costume. Even if that means spending hours in the makeup chair and preparing for months to perfect your look.

Klum is celebrating 25 years of Halloween parties in New York City, having first hosted the star-studded spooky event in 2000. She didn’t hold any parties in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She captioned the photo, “Feeling Sassy” without further context, and added the hashtag “#HeidiHalloween.”
Additionally, in the days leading up to the haunted holiday, Klum posted a nostalgic photo of herself in an outfit from a year ago. Among them were Betty Boop in 2002, Fiona from Shrek in 2018, and Jessica Rabbit in 2015.
She also told PEOPLE a few days before the party that this year her outfits would be “ugly” rather than “cute” like last year.
For the 2024 bash, the Making the Cut hosts chose something out of this world. She and husband Tom Kaulitz dressed up as ET (Klum added a blonde wig to the disguise).
