Heather Locklear and Michael J. Fox had a sweet “Spin City” reunion at the Toronto Fan Expo over the weekend.
Locklear shared a pair’s snaps from the event to Instagram on Wednesday, quickly throwing his followers into a nostalgic frenzy.
In the photo, the 63-year-old “Melrose Place” alum looked comfortable as she leaned into Fox’s embrace, smiling loudly at the camera.
“It’s one of my favorites,” she wrote at the bottom of the photo.
Fans of the two stars quickly rang out in praise after seeing their beloved actors reunite.
“I love the two of Spin City, so funny!” one social media user commented, adding laughter emojis and red heart emojis.
Meanwhile, another added: “All Michael J. Fox is in great colours. What a great painting.”
“Two Legends!!!” The third netizen wrote along with a string of Red Heart emojis.
Locklear and Fox, 64, last worked together on the ABC sitcom nearly 25 years ago. The actress joined the series in the fourth season as campaign manager Caitlyn Moore, who worked with Fox character Deputy Mayor Mike Flaherty.
After Fox revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, she became part of the cast. The “Back to the Future” star ultimately ended the series shortly after Season 4 ended in 2000.
Fox was eventually replaced by Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen played Charlie Crawford on the sitcom six seasons later, before the network x the series in May 2002.
Locklear opened up about his experience on the show at Con last year in Daytona Beach, Florida, and detailed the differences in his work with the two stars.
“They’re amazing,” she told people about both stars. “They know how… one speaks quickly, the other is slow.”
“The timing (difference) between Michael and Charlie had to get used to it. Michael is a fast guy. Charlie is mmmhmmm,” she explained.
Due to the different acting styles, Locklear said he must adjust his talent to his talent.
“So (the challenge) really had to make my timing better. They wouldn’t be who they are and I… who I am.”
