Heather Dubrow reveals shocking price tag on ‘RHOC’ reunion dress

Heather Dubrow isn’t paying thousands of dollars for her The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion outfit.

The reality star opened up about the cost of the dress and the surprising place she found it on the Monday, Nov. 3 episode of Between Us, a podcast she co-hosts with husband Terry Dubrow.

Before revealing the price of the dress, Heather, 56, asked Botched’s plastic surgeon, 67, to guess how much a designer dress usually costs.

His $10,000 and $20,000 guesses were both wrong, said Heather, who is in the show’s ninth non-consecutive season.

“Do you know how much a jug of milk costs?” she added jokingly. “Normally, a dress for a reunion would probably cost somewhere between $3,000 and $7,000.”

Heather then asked her husband to guess how much she spent on her Season 19 reunion dress, and he quickly revealed that it only cost “$59.99.”

Satisfied, Terry replied, “This is going to be my favorite dress. I love it. I love it so much already. I think I’ll just spend that much from now on.”

Heather explained that she couldn’t find a luxury item she liked, so she ordered a “bulk” of dresses from Amazon based on a mood board that Bravo’s production team sent her.

Heather said she chose the dress for its “beautiful, saturated” burgundy hue and flattering neckline.

Wide tank top strap dresses also have the extra perk of being able to wear a “regular” bra.

“Nine times out of 10, I wear a strapless bra. After two and a half hours, it’s halfway down to my breasts and nipples, and I have a double bubble,” she recalled of her past appearance. “Otherwise I’d have to wear crazy Spanx. I just wanted to be comfortable.”

Heather confirmed that the dress was approved by the network, but that she did not cover the cost until after the reunion.

“I’ve heard some rumors that someone might have said my dress was cheap,” Heather said. “For me, it’s all about wearing it. I love the Zara dress with the Chanel belt.”

However, Heather told Terry that the designer clothes she tried on “couldn’t have looked any better”, adding: “I could have chosen anything, but it was the dress I chose because it was the one I liked.”

The reality TV veteran said she likes to shop at ZARA and H&M, in addition to luxury brands. She revealed that her BravoCon outfit will be a mix of designer and affordable pieces.

“Everyone needs to look united when they’re sitting on the couch, so I understand why there’s a look and mood board,” says Heather. “But it’s hard to spend a lot of money on a dress you’ll only wear once, and it’s probably not what you want.”

Terry then compared the cost range of fashion and red wine with a helpful analogy.

“A lot of people will choose a two-back chuck wine because it’s sweeter and it’s meant to please everyone,” Terry told Heather. “But if you tell people about it, they won’t like it right away. People who see your dress will know it’s cheap and criticize it.”

Fans may notice this theft of Heather again. Heather said on the podcast that she reshot looks from past reunions “many times.”
