“Hot Rivals” star Hudson Williams will attend the Oscars.
Sources say the actor is scheduled to attend the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday.
Williams and Rivals co-star Connor Story made their awards presenting debut at the Golden Globes in January. Story is said to have no plans to attend the Oscars. Fellow “Rivals” actor Robbie GK is on the guest list for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.
Williams, who was recently spotted attending the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week on March 7, is currently filming a series based on the play Yaga for Canadian streamer Crave. Co-stars include Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Noah Reed (Schitt’s Creek), and Clark Bucko (Letterkenny).
He and Story are scheduled to return in Season 2 of “Heated Rivals.” According to series creator Jacob Tierney, filming is expected to begin this summer. “I stay in my room all day writing,” Tierney told me at Thursday’s GLAAD Media Awards.
The Oscar ceremony, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will be held on March 15th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC and streamed on Hulu.
Presenters include Paul Mescal, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chase Infinity, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani and Zoe Saldaña.
A Bridesmaids reunion is planned for the ceremony, including Rose Byrne, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper.
Barbra Streisand may perform at a memorial service in honor of her ‘The Way We Were’ co-star Robert Redford. Billy Crystal will lead a tribute to Rob Reiner.
