HBO Max has acquired US rights to the Scripting Event Series “October 1st,” based on a direct account of Hamas’ attacks on Israel.

The series will debut on October 7th, the second anniversary of the Nova Music Festival massacre.

Filmed in an Israeli location, “One Day in October” is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios in collaboration with Yes TV and Moriah Media. The show is touted as a depiction of the first real-time script of a personal story from the attack.

According to Logline, the series “presents seven emotionally engaging and artistically woven stories of love, courage, sacrifice and survival. A praised creative team.”

Cast includes Swell Ariel or Noa Kedar, Naomi Levov, Hisham Suliman, Wael Hamdoun, Yuval Semo, Avi Azulay, Naveh Tzur, Yael Abecassis, Moran Rosenblatt, Michael Aloni, Neta Roth, Sean Softi, Lior Ashkenazi, and Uri Perelman. “One Day in October” was created by Daniel Finkelman and Oded Davidoff.

“The tragic events on October 7th had a huge impact on us all,” said Fernando Szew, president and director of Fox Entertainment Studios. “From the beginning, we approach this series with the utmost care, sensitivity and urgency, and we will be honored and honored by the stories being told with authenticity, respect and respect to the victims and heroic survivors. Finkelman added: “Movie and TV are always more than entertainment and are ways to witness. These are stories of ordinary people facing extraordinary moments. In an age when truth is fragile, the most powerful thing we can do is appeal to the human beings themselves.

Writers in the series also include Liron Ben Schulsch, Amir Hasfari, Kellen Weissman, Oritt Dabusch and Jonah Rozenkier. Finkelman leads productions at Chaya Amor, Aviv Ben Schlush, Lee Ben Schlush Cooperman and Fox Entertainment’s Szew. Jim Burke and Sheldon Rabinowitz are executive producers.
