Halle Berry has revealed the one thing she refuses to perform for.
When it comes to sex, the 59-year-old Oscar-winning actress says she doesn’t fake anything in the bedroom with her fiancé Van Hunt.
Appearing on Tuesday’s episode of the Sex With Emily podcast, Berry said she’s not interested in pretending to have an orgasm to please her partner.
“We needed to get there for him to be satisfied with bringing us to orgasm,” she said. “We had to say we made him feel good about himself, because what’s that doing? That’s putting his needs before ours. And now we don’t do that anymore.”
“I’m like, ‘No, just like you come first, I come first,'” Berry continued. “It’s natural for both of us that this is a pleasurable experience for both of us, so we both feel good and can roll over and go to sleep. One of us isn’t snoring and the other is looking at the ceiling and saying, ‘What?’
Berry confirmed earlier this month that she is engaged to Van Hunt, 55, who she has been dating for nearly six years. The “Catwoman” actress revealed the news during the Feb. 5 episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” dispelling rumors that she initially rejected him.
“There is confusion because he asked me to marry him and I said no, but that’s not the case,” she said. “I didn’t say no, I just didn’t have any plans for a date, but of course I said yes, I would marry him!”
Back in June 2025, Hunt revealed that he had proposed to Berry, but her response was “on hold.”
“So I put forward a proposal, but as you can see, it’s still pending,” the musician said at the time. “It’s just floating there.”
Berry said she was hesitant about getting married because she had tried to get married three times before. She was married to retired MLB player David Justice from 1993 to 1997, then Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005, and then French actor Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016.
Berry also said of her relationship with Hunt, “We don’t feel like we have to get married to somehow prove our love. That’s not the case.”
However, she said, “Of all the people I’ve ever married, I think this is the person I should have married, so I’m getting married.”
“I think we should get married, and I think we should get married, but it’s not because we feel like we have to. I think we just want to get married because we want that expression.”
Berry confirmed their relationship in a social media post in September 2020.
