Halle Berry and her boyfriend Van Hunt are still going strong.
The couple were pictured braving the New York City cold as they went for an evening stroll. They openly displayed affection as Hunt put his arm around Berry.
They were both bundled up for a walk. The actress wore a long double-breasted coat, jeans and boots, while the musician wore a plaid shirt and green pants under a hoodie.
Berry, 59, and Hunt, 55, have been dating since 2020 but are reportedly in no rush to get married.
“They’ve been talking about marriage, but the truth is that Halle seems happy the way she is,” a source recently told People. “She just wants things to stay the way they are.”
The source added: “Halle’s relationship with Van Hunt has been great. He really understands her and treats her very well. She’s very grateful.”
Berry revealed during the couple’s joint interview with Today.com in June 2025 that Hunt had already proposed, but she had put him on “hold.”
Hunt said, “So I put forward a proposal, but as you can see, it’s still pending. It’s just floating around. Maybe we can encourage her.”
But Berry explained: “We don’t feel like we have to get married to prove our love in any way. That’s not the case.”
However, she made it clear that the problem was not with Hunt, who she publicly called the love of her life in 2021.
“I’m thinking of getting married because out of all the people I’ve ever married, this is the person I should have married,” she exclaimed.
“I think we should get married, and I think we should get married, but it’s not because we feel like we have to. I think we just want to get married because we want that expression.”
The Oscar-winning actress has been married three times.
Her first husband was MLB athlete David Justice, whom she was married to from 1993 to 1997. She married singer Eric Benet in 2001, and their divorce was finalized in 2005. Her third husband is French actor Olivier Martinez, whom she was married to from 2013 to 2016.
Berry has a 17-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex Gabriel Aubry, and a 12-year-old son, Maceo, with Martinez.
