Hailey Bieber is getting serious about her relationship with cosmetic enhancements.
During an appearance on the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast, the 28-year-old Lorde founder and mother revealed the one rule she sets for herself when it comes to Botox treatments. “I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t get Botox until I was in my 30s. Once I was in my 30s, I would think about whether I really wanted to do it,” the model said in the episode released on Friday, October 24.
While she may not have been exposed to injectables for cosmetic reasons, she revealed that she does have one in her jaw to treat her temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). According to the Cleveland Clinic, this injectable can help treat chronic jaw pain and prevent further strain.

Bieber may follow in the footsteps of his mother, Kenya Baldwin. She says she hasn’t had any Botox and has “nothing” done to her skin. But for now, she plans to stick with her favorite treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), which repurpose her platelets into injectables to rejuvenate her skin.
“I like to do things that I trust from[my]body,” the beauty mogul explained, adding that she underwent treatments to address her laugh lines and under-eye area.
In addition to her work in cosmetics, Bieber said she is “insanely passionate” about skincare. “I can be so wasted that I see double, but I’m still going to[wash my face]. No matter how drunk I am, I’m not going to pass out with my makeup on,” she shared.
In 2020, Bieber, then 23, clapped back at accusations that he had undergone plastic surgery to improve his appearance. “Please stop using photos that have been edited by makeup artists!” she commented under the before and after images taken before her fan account was deleted. “This photo on the right is not what I look like…”
“I have never touched my face,” she insisted. “So if you’re going to sit down and compare 13-year-old me to 23-year-old me, at least use a natural photo that isn’t that weirdly edited.”
When launching Lorde in 2022, Bieber opened up to PEOPLE about how her views on beauty have changed over the years.

“When I look back at when I was 16, 17, and even 20, I loved heavy eye makeup and heavy contouring, but I was always obsessed with healthy skin. And now, at 25, I’ve never felt more beautiful, I’ve never felt sexier, and I just embrace my skin…” she said. “It’s been a great journey learning to do less and that less is more.”
In May, her company was acquired by elf Beauty in a $1 billion deal. A few months later, in a WSJ cover story. In the magazine’s Innovators issue, Bieber said he wants to be “smart” about where he spends his money.
“I want to leave it for my son’s future. It’s more money than I’ve ever dealt with before, so I want to use it wisely,” she said of her young son, Jack Bruce, born with husband Justin Bieber in August 2024. “We want to invest wisely.”
