On Wednesday, Hailey Bieber attended the WSJ Magazine 2025 Innovator Awards held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where she received the Beauty Innovator honor. Bieber received the award for his work as the founder and creative force behind skincare brand Lorde, which was acquired by Elf Beauty in a milestone $1 billion deal in May.
Bieber arrived in an all-leather Saint Laurent look with a cinched black corset, motorcycle jacket, and matching pencil skirt. She completed her ensemble with white slingback pumps, Tiffany pearl and diamond earrings, and a sparkling tennis bracelet.
She also posed for a photo shoot with Lovebu.
The event, held at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, was attended by celebrities including Billie Eilish, Spike Lee, Ben Stiller and George Lucas. Inside the venue, guests enjoyed a steak and caviar dinner, blackberry mocktails and a jalapeño cocktail named after Beaver. After the ceremony, Questlove served as an afterparty DJ on the museum’s first floor, WSJ reported.
After selling Lorde, Bieber told WSJ Magazine that she plans to use the huge profit to pay for child support for her one-year-old son, Jack, whom she shares with husband Justin Bieber. “I want to leave it for my son’s future. It’s more money than I’ve ever handled before, so I want to handle it wisely,” said the beauty mogul, who remains chief creative officer and head of innovation at Lorde. “I want to invest wisely.”
On October 24, Bieber also appeared on the podcast In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele, where she talked about motherhood and her hopes of having more children in the future. “I’m someone who’s always wanted to be a mom, so I’m very, very, very committed to my son. I have help, I have it full-time, and I’m not embarrassed to say that at all,” she said. “And I’ve never hesitated to talk about it, because I can’t build my career and do my job without help. And I’m really grateful for that.”
She added that she would like to have more children eventually. “I know I want more than one, but I’m in no hurry,” she said. “Justin was also an only child, so all the conversations we ever had about it were just about wanting our son to have a (sibling).”
