Hailey Bieber is also very particular about her appearance.
At last weekend’s Academy Museum Gala, Bieber stunned on the blue carpet as paparazzi snapped her photo in a Schiaparelli Couture corset.
But once inside, it was a different story.
Bieber looked like a high-fashion picture when he was upright, but he proved difficult when sitting. The extreme corset design was not very forgiving and caused the models to recline awkwardly once they entered the room.
The Lorde founder shared a series of photos on Instagram after the event, including one of her leaning back on a banquette during dinner, unable to sit properly at the table until dinner was served.
The dress is made from brown silk moiré and features sculpted conical bra cups and a full-length slit accented with a crystal clasp. Around her waist was a nude-toned, boned corset sculpted into an exaggerated hourglass silhouette and made of the same silk moiré.
The look was the closing look for the design house’s spring 2025 couture show in January, and was made from vintage ribbon, according to Harper’s Bazaar.
Bieber wasn’t the only one to commit to this look in the name of fashion, as celebs like Kim Kardashian, who wore a Margiela Couture face covering, were also in attendance.
“Always a beautiful night @academymuseum 🤎,” she wrote, and the look didn’t seem to keep Bieber from having a good time surrounded by some of LA’s most stylish stars.
