Hailey Bieber said she is taking her marriage “one day at a time” after her husband Justin previously admitted to marital problems in July.
“We’re just taking it one day at a time,” Hailey, 28, told GQ in Tuesday’s cover story, adding that she is “happy” with the way things are now while discussing their open marriage.
“We both care very much about our son and I think that will always be the case, but our lives are our lives and it’s really a public space, so we’re going to cross all the bridges that need to be crossed when we get there,” she continued.
“But right now, we feel very comfortable with how we share things and how we don’t share things.”
The model, who gave birth to her first child, son Jack Bruce, with Justin, 31, in August 2024, reflected on becoming a mother for the first time, shared her thoughts on motherhood and hinted at the possibility of welcoming another child.
“I don’t think anyone can ever tell you about it and prepare you for it until you do it yourself,” Haley said.
“But I feel a lot more prepared when I do it again, compared to how unprepared I felt the first time I did it.”
Furthermore, she added: “Personally, I think there are so many unknowns, so many things happening, so many changes, and evolving in such completely different ways that you can never be prepared for until you actually do it.”
Hailey’s comments come months after her husband hinted at marital problems with his surprise seventh album, Swag, which includes songs such as “Walking Away.”
“Girl, you better stop before you say anything / We’ve been testing our patience / I think you should take a break / And remember what grace is,” he sings in the song.
“Baby, I’m not leaving,” he continued. “You were my diamond / You gave me a ring / You promised me, you said, ‘I’ll change’ / It’s human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t gonna walk away.”
However, it looks like the two lovebirds are back on cloud nine once again.
