Gwyneth Paltrow reigns supreme at the Academy Awards.
The “Marty Supreme” actress, 53, arrived on the 2026 Oscars red carpet wearing a strapless ivory silk Giorgio Armani Prive dress that showed more skin than it first appeared.
The design exudes Old Hollywood elegance from the front, but turns to the side to reveal a dramatic high-cut slit that hides a pair of shimmering sheer pants.
She paired the look with a dazzling platinum and 18-karat yellow gold Tiffany necklace (and unlike the one her character wears in Marty Supreme, this can’t really be called costume jewelry).
Adding even more Tiffany sparkle, the Goop maven completed her look with a platinum and diamond ring and earrings featuring over 4 carats and over 8 carats of diamonds, respectively.
Paltrow has not been nominated for any awards, but she is scheduled to present on tonight’s telecast.
However, “Marty Supreme” received nine nominations, including Best Picture. Meanwhile, co-star Timothée Chalamet (also dressed head-to-toe in white) is up for best actor, while Josh Safdie is nominated for director, screenplay and film editing.
Hollywood starlet Kay Stone, her character in the period drama Ping Ping, would definitely approve of tonight’s style.
But makeup artist Kyla Panchenko spoke to Page Six Style about Paltrow’s vulnerable moments in the film without makeup, revealing that she wore nothing but goop for the post-shower scene.
Tonight marks Paltrow’s first appearance at the Academy Awards in almost 10 years, making it a rare Oscar appearance for the lifestyle brand founder.
When she last appeared in 2015, she wore a one-shoulder pink dress by Ralph & Russo, which is now up for auction for enthusiasts to bid on.
Paltrow wowed the crowd at the SAG Actor Awards 2026 earlier this year wearing a plunging sheer lace dress designed by Givenchy and accessorized with 1930s turquoise Belperron earrings.
Last month, she showed off her legs and belly button in a pink Prada set for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, which was reminiscent of her most famous red carpet look: the bubblegum-colored Ralph Lauren dress she wore to the 1999 Oscars.
Perhaps tonight’s look will go down in the history books as well.
