“Good Day New York” anchor Rosanna Scott’s son Louis Ruggiero Jr. and his fiancée Mia Nowotarski are getting married!
Sources exclusively tell Page Six that the couple said “I do” to a packed house at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on Friday.
“Friday night was filled with love, glamour, and plenty of New York media royalty,” the source said, noting that Fox 5 News stars in attendance included Dan Bowens, Bianca Peters, Natasha Verma, Steve Lacy and fan-favorite meteorologist Mike Woods.
“This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a full-on Fox 5 family affair,” the source said.
We also hear that Scott’s dear friend, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, officiated at the wedding Mass.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom and their loved ones headed to the legendary Prince George Ballroom in downtown Manhattan for the reception.
“With lush floral installations, twinkling candlelight, and elegant décor, the ballroom felt like something straight out of a fairy tale as friends, family, and the close-knit Fox 5 News crew gathered to toast the happy couple,” a source said.
We hear that event maestro Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events has transformed this iconic space into a “magical wonderland.”
The bride dazzled in a strapless basque-waist wedding dress by Kleinfeld Bridal star designer Pnina Tornai. She also accessorized with a lace veil and diamond necklace.
“[Tolnai]was scheduled to personally deliver the dress and attend the wedding, but was unable to travel to New York as she was safely evacuated to Israel amid the ongoing conflict,” a source said of the Israeli-born designer.
Ruggiero Jr. wore a cream-colored jacket and black bow tie, while his mother, 67, looked resplendent in a shimmering blue off-the-shoulder dress, also by Tornai.
The couple reportedly had their first dance to Morgan Wallen’s “Spin You Around.”
“The dance floor was packed until late into the night,” a source said.
Rosanna’s lawyer husband Louis Ruggiero, her mother Marion “Mama” Scott, sister Elaina Scott, brother John Scott, and Rosanna and Louis’ daughter Jenna Ruggiero were also in attendance to celebrate.
One guest said she heard Marion joke that she was there to see if the “famous meatballs” at her restaurant, Fresco by Scott, were “served to (her) taste.”
Ruggiero Jr., 31, and Mia, 28, got engaged in 2023 and welcomed their son, Vincent, in February 2024.
Their little boy was also in attendance on the day, looking super cute in a crisp white dress shirt.
On Thursday, the family celebrated a rehearsal dinner at Kerali Taverna in Midtown.
