Global Constellation, the Vuelta Group’s sales and finance company, has promoted Leo Testo to Sales Director for the theater division, while Lorenzo Verasai joins from fellow Vuelta company Pan Europaennes as Sales Director.
Reporting directly to Fabian Westerhoff, Head of Theater, Test will oversee Global Constellation’s worldwide sales operations and work closely with distributors and talent agencies to further strengthen the company’s position in the global market.
Teste joined Film Constellation in 2019 as a sales executive. He was then promoted to Manager and then Director of Sales and Distribution, playing a key role in expanding the company’s commercial strategy. Most recently, Teste was one of the key executives who participated in the strategic merger of Film Constellation and Global Screen following their acquisition by Vuelta. In this capacity, he helped shape the positioning and sales plan of the newly combined company.
“Leo is a pleasure to work with. His exceptional work ethic and deep knowledge of the international sales landscape, combined with his strategic thinking at a pivotal time of transformation, make him the ideal person to lead Global Constellation’s sales efforts,” the company said in a statement.
“It has been a privilege to work under Fabian’s leadership over the years, and I am grateful for the continued confidence he has placed in me,” Test said. “We are deeply grateful for the support of the amazing teams at Vuelta and Global Constellation, and are working together to give our ambitious film the reach it deserves. We are also delighted to welcome Lorenzo to the team. His distribution background will be a real asset as we continue to expand our sales efforts.”
Mr. Berasai joins the company from distribution company Pan European, where he was responsible for theatrical sales and marketing starting in 2022 for films such as the French box office hit “Little Something Extra,” Luca Guadadino’s “Queer,” and the CGI family animation “The Legendary.”
Berlin’s Global Constellation’s slate includes two films in the Panorama category, Sophie Heldman’s The Education of Jane Cumming and Jeremy Comte’s Paradise, and is promoting the new crime romance Queen of the Falls, starring Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce, and Thea Wageman’s CG family adventure Dragoon.
Global Constellation will also release new promos for Sebastian Rodenbach’s animated feature Viva Carmen, Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Atane’s queer adult animation Gym Queen, Jan Holobek’s noir thriller Wild Wild East, Ulrike Tony Wahl’s World War II drama Crax, and Federico Mirella’s CG family animation The Last Dinosaur.
