Over the years in the entertainment industry, Glen Powell doesn’t really regret it. Except for reality TV appearances from 10 years ago.
The 36-year-old actor, who spoke to people at the Chad Powers premiere on Thursday, September 25th, revealed what he would do if he were to “do” in his life.
“If I was going to do it, I had a reality show called Endurance when I was 15, where I fell out of the barn and got kicked off on the first day,” he told people.
“I’ll try it over. You can look it up. It’s really sad. There’s definitely a video. Everyone saw it. You’re the only person who doesn’t bother me about it,” he jokes with people.
Powell previously chatted with Stephen Colbert and discussed his appearance in the Discovery Kids series. Stephen Colbert joked that his time in endurance was one of “an early forays into the world of action that had not been successful.”
“To be honest, it’s really tough for me to talk about,” Powell said in a 2024 interview that she was visibly embarrassed. “I’ve never spoken publicly about this.”
“The fact that they pulled this is shocking, but we’re going here,” he continued. “I was 13. I was on a show called Endurance. It’s basically a kid’s survivor type show.”
Powell said it was a reality show that sent the kids to Mexico.

When he appeared on Colbert’s show, the actor from The Top Gun: Maverick admitted that he didn’t like to talk about the show as he didn’t go far into the competition.
“I wanted to be really bad for the show so I was kicked off in the first episode,” he said.
Powell appeared on the show in the first season of 2002, appearing in only one episode.
In the clip shared by Colbert, young Powell is seen talking about a challenge involving a monkey stick.
“I thought I could do it for a long time, but my balance wasn’t what I thought,” he said he was competing with him in the confessional clip. “When I realized I was going home, it was the worst feeling.”

Elsewhere in conversations with people supporting his upcoming Hulu Sports Comedy Series following the dishonest college quarterback (Glenn), who hides himself as “Chad Power” to revive his career, Powell shared that he was opened up about the big roles his parents played in his acting career and making small cameos on the show.

“They are fearless at this point,” he says of his mother, Cindy Powell and his father, Glenn Powell Sr.
He continues. “They have a good time, and one of the things that gives me the greatest joy is to put them on a set. It’s literally going to take my friends and family on a journey.
Chad Powers will premiere on Hulu on Tuesday, September 30th.
