In addition to being the presenter at tonight’s ceremony, actor Jay Kelly is also nominated for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
Amal and George are based in France with their children, and news recently broke that they have acquired French citizenship.

George and his wife Amal Clooney appeared hand in hand on the red carpet. George looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo. Amal complemented him in a form-fitting red dress with Cartier jewellery.
The couple appeared in Los Angeles shortly after news broke that they had acquired French citizenship.
In early December, George spoke in an interview with RTL radio about how much he valued France’s privacy laws, and hinted that his children (eight-year-old twins Ella and Alexander) would be attending school in France. “We don’t take pictures of children here,” he said. “There are no paparazzi hiding at the school gates. That’s the biggest thing for us.”
George did not receive any individual nominations at last week’s Critics Choice Awards, but his film “Jay Kelly” was recognized in four categories, including Best Picture.
George recently spoke to Variety about the project and its impact on how he views acting as a profession. “[Making this film]got me back in shape as an actor,” he said. “I rediscovered why I love this profession. It’s not like I didn’t challenge myself in the last few films, but I knew how to play the role. This one felt like when you first started acting and you were trying to figure it out. You’re thinking, ‘Am I a fraud? Am I going to get caught?'” It’s a really good place to feel away from the game. ”
