California Governor Gavin Newsom is trolling Donald Trump over his release of his glowing MRI results.
Newsom, 58, and his team mocked President Trump, 79, in a spoofed memo dated Monday, Dec. 1 and signed by “Dr. Dolittle, the California Peak Excellence Authority’s physician,” after White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt revealed details of abdominal and cardiovascular scans the president underwent in October.
A memo from White House physician Sean Barbavera claimed that both of Trump’s test results were “completely normal” and that the MRI was “precautionary.”
“This level of thorough examination is standard for an executive medical examination of President Trump’s age and confirms that he remains in good overall health,” Barbavera said in a memo read by Levitt at Monday’s briefing.
Newsom’s team teased the president’s glowing memo by releasing a summary of the governor’s own “advanced imaging results.”
“We are pleased to report that the Governor’s health is more than just ‘normal,'” the joke note said, adding, “Governor Newsom remains the healthiest human being alive or recorded in medical history.”

The report added that Newsom’s cardiovascular scan was “the best ever recorded” and described his arteries as “sparkling.”
“His resting heart rate was so stable that the electrocardiogram machine asked if he was ‘meditating or naturally enlightened,'” the memo continues, noting that Newsom’s bone density was “extraordinary,” so much so that “the radiologist momentarily wondered if we had scanned a sequoia.”

“His brain imaging tests showed no problems other than abnormal activity in areas associated with intelligence, multitasking, and being highly productive before sunrise,” the memo continued, adding, “While we typically do not comment on the health status of other elected officials, we are aware of a letter released today from the White House claiming that President Trump is in ‘excellent health.'” ”
“I just want to point out that Governor Newsom works a full shift without falling asleep during a meeting, doesn’t require ‘executive time’ to lie down and watch TV during work hours, and doesn’t look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa when he stands upright,” the sarcastic note continued, seemingly mocking a recent image of President Trump with his eyes closed during a White House meeting.

The post came after Mr. Levitt shared the results of Mr. Trump’s MRI scan, which he reportedly underwent during a visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on October 10. He previously told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, November 30, that he had “no idea” what part of his body was scanned, but he was certain “it wasn’t the brain.”
President Trump also made the comment after a reporter asked him about Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s statement that the results should be announced after the president used a derogatory mark against the Democratic vice presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
“If you want it released, we’ll release it,” Trump insisted while returning to Washington, D.C., from Florida, according to footage shared by the White House.
When asked what part of his body was scanned during the MRI, President Trump told CBS News’ Weijia Jiang, “I don’t know…I took a cognitive test and passed it, so it wasn’t my brain.”
