Horse girl for life.
Friends and models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner became equestrian chic for the October 2025 issue of Vogue and modeled the galloping horse gown.
Indigenous Californians who both raised horseback riding were fitted in frill McQueen dresses (hadid with a light purple iteration and mint green appearance).
Meanwhile, for the cover, they were both dressed in Miu Miu, with Jenner wearing grey plaid flannel with brown suede in a patchwork mini dress that fits brown suede around the shoulders and colorful foam.
Elsewhere in the spread, models are mixed with Western and female works from designers such as Louis Vuitton, Rodarte and Marc Jacobs.
Hadid and Jenner discussed their close bond in an accompanying interview led by Chloe Mul, American Vogue’s newly appointed editorial content director.
“I think the basis for our friendship is to respect the same things that we see when we go to work,” Hadid explained. “We’re not there to seek special treatment. We’re always working hard.”
“We’re more sisters than friends,” exclaimed Jenner.
Friends were called “Kengi” when they first began acquiring fashion spaces together in the early 2010s.
“I was your biggest fan,” Jenner recalled the early days of their friendship. “And once we started working together and doing shows, I remember those early seasons. We’ll do a month together.”
