“It’s so good,” Hubert replied with a smile when asked if she and Smith had a sincere relationship during an interview on the Atlanta V-103 radio station.
In 1990, Hubert was cast as Vivian’s bank.
However, she ended the show in 1993 after three seasons, citing “creative differences,” and was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid. Almost 30 years later, Hubert and Smith occasionally rioted in public eyes. They later reunited during the show’s 30-year reunion special in 2020 and filled out hatch.
On Tuesday, Hubert looked back at Fullercal’s moments, revealing that Smith “drove me out” on the same Atlanta radio station V-103 years ago. She now says that things between them are “very good” and praises Smith for creating a website for her independent animation features JG and BC Kids and helping her promote it.

In recent years, neither of them has expressed regret for not solving the problem quickly.
Speaking to people in 2021, Hubert said she and Smith have had a “very good relationship” since the reunion special.
“We always text each other,” she continued. “When I held him, I meant it all in my heart because I saw that little boy, that little 21 year old boy. If I had the opportunity to talk to him at the time, I think this would never have happened.”
On a 2024 episode of the Vice’s Black Comedy in America series, Smith told Hubert that he “made a horrible mistake” when he starred in the hit comedy.

“I made a terrible mistake and false judgment of her worth, power and beauty over the show,” the legendary star recalls his career with host Chris Spencer. “I was horribly underestimating what she was for me at that point in my life.”
Before the settlement, Smith told an Atlanta radio station that Hubert “want to see the show be Viv, Aunt of Bel Air Show.” On Tuesday, Herbert joked that she was “at the scene of a crime.”
