Fox Entertainment has a new push at the helm of its creator-driven content efforts. The company announced it has hired veteran media and investment executive Billy Parks to lead Fox Creator Studios.
The Fox Corp. division launched Fox Creator Studios at CES 2026, a digital-first division created to partner with top creators. As head of FCS, Parks will report to Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade. The park will focus on finding “culturally relevant” and “high growth” talent. Build a sustainable monetization model. Work with creators on franchises across television, streaming and digital platforms. According to Fox Entertainment, it “translates viewer engagement into long-term intellectual property value.”
Most recently, Mr. Parks was a Venture Partner in Creator Fund at early stage VC firm Slow Ventures. Prior to that, he was an operating partner at Peter Chernin’s The Chernin Group and, before that, chief brand officer at Conan, a joint venture between Conan O’Brien and Turner Media.
“Fox Creator Studios represents a fundamental evolution in the way we work with today’s most dynamic storytellers, bridging the gap between Hollywood and the rapidly expanding creator economy,” Wade said in announcing Parks’ hire. “Billy has built his career at the forefront of creator-driven media, blending creative intuition with investment and operational expertise. He understands that today’s creators are founders and brand builders, and he knows how to scale their ideas into lasting businesses. As we expand our digital ecosystem, we want to help creators realize their dreams, and Billy is the ideal leader to drive that effort.”
“Today’s creators aren’t waiting for permission. They’re building the world’s most dynamic media businesses on their own terms, recognizing that the future lies in ideas that travel. At Fox, we have a storied tradition of empowering great creative talent, and Fox Creator Studios is a natural extension of that tradition. Our goal is to meet creators where they are, honor what they’ve already built, and help them grow, whether it’s launching a new format, expanding into new areas, or scaling. We want to be the place where we understand their needs and help them turn that momentum into lasting storytelling and entertainment brands. ”
Since its inception, Fox Creator Studios has focused on food-centered talent, including partnerships with Gordon Ramsay through Studio Ramsay Global, Rosanna Pansino, Jolly, Sorted Food, The Food Theorists, and Little Remy Food. With Parks at the helm, Fox Creator Studio will expand into “additional high-growth areas,” the company said.
Fox Entertainment’s broader digital strategy includes an investment in vertical video platform Holywater (and a deal with Dhar Mann for Holywater’s slate of scripted programming), experiential storytelling with Chain, the acquisition of ROM-COM podcast company Meet Cute, and a partnership with HarperCollins Publishing.
Parks began his career in feature films and went on to create branded entertainment, including commercials, music videos, Super Bowl campaigns, and VMA-winning work with global artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Eminem, Selena Gomez, and Rihanna, and brands such as the NFL, Chrysler, Honda, and AT&T.
He went on to serve as Vice President of Digital Production and Programming at The Chernin Group and Chief Content Officer on Judy McGrath’s Astronauts Wanted. Mr. Parks was Senior Vice President of Fullscreen’s Strategic Content Group, where he founded and oversaw AT&T Hello Lab before joining Otter Media (formerly a portfolio company of The Chernin Group) as Senior Vice President of Creative and Content Strategy, working with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Ellation to develop and expand content services.
