Fox is recruiting cast members for its Bible-themed event series “The Faithful.”

The show, which will air in three parts in 2026, has added the following actors for the third and final episode: Millie Brady (The Last Kingdom, The Queen’s Gambit) as Leah, Blu Hunt (Sherlock & Daughter, The Originals) as Rachel, James Purefoy (Rome, The Veil) as Laban, Will Stevens (Thursday Murder Club) as Barham, and Taylor. Napier (“Wheel of Time,” “Hannah”) plays Akar.

Additionally, previously announced cast member Tom Payne will once again appear in the episode as Jacob. Cast members announced so far include Minnie Drive as Sarah, Jeffrey Donovan as Abraham, Natasha Cullum as Hagar, Alexa Davalos as Rebecca, Tom Mison as Isaac, and Ben Robson as Esau.

Brady is repped by ITG, WME and Jackoway Austen. Mr. Hunt is repped by IAG, Death Wish Entertainment and Jackoway Austen. Purefoy is repped by CAA, Linden Entertainment and Independent Talent in the UK. Stevens is repped by 42 and Luber Roklin Entertainment. Napier is repped by Echo Lake Entertainment and United Agents.

The official logline for The Faithful describes the film as “a faithful adaptation of Genesis, told through the eyes of courageous, passionate, yet flawed women whose descendants go on to shape the future of faith as we know it today.” Elevated, dramatic, intimate, and even surprising, “The Faithful” is about the discovery and loss of love, the challenges of marriage, the joys and heartbreaks of children, facing temptation, and finding faith.”

“The Faithful” will premiere on Fox on March 22, 2026, with the final two hours scheduled to air on Easter Sunday. It will air on FOX during the Easter and Passover seasons and on Hulu the following day.

Rene Echevarria wrote the pilot and will serve as showrunner and executive producer on “The Faithful.” Carol Mendelsohn will serve as executive producer under a direct first-look broadcast agreement with Fox, with Julie Weitz also serving as executive producer. The series is wholly owned by Fox Entertainment and produced by Fox Entertainment Studios. Fox Entertainment Global will distribute worldwide.
