Kyle Cook is supporting his estranged wife Amanda Batula as she faces backlash after going public with her secret romance with ‘Summer House’ co-star West Wilson.
In exclusive photos obtained by Page Six, the former couple was spotted reuniting in New York City on Friday.
The former couple was chatting on the street while walking their dog. And in several snaps, Cook could be seen hugging and comforting Batula.
Batula, 34, was wearing a brown leather jacket, gray sweatpants and sneakers.
Both men wore baseball caps and sunglasses to keep a low profile.
In another photo, Batula is seen holding a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, which appears to have been given to her by her younger brother Frank.
This is her first public appearance since she and Wilson announced their secret romance via Instagram on Tuesday.
Up until that point, the pair had kept their relationship a secret from other Summerhouse castmates, including Cooke and Amanda’s best friend Ciara Miller, who previously dated Wilson.
Page Six heard that the entire group is “angry” and “disappointed” with the pair and is “Team Ciara.”
But Cook, 43, defended his estranged wife on Wednesday, pleading with angry Bravo fans to stop cyberbullying as he is “not feeling well” in the aftermath.
“Honestly, I’m really worried about Amanda,” Cook told street journalist Adam Glynn in a TikTok video posted Wednesday, adding that his ex-girlfriend had given him a “warning” before her big announcement.
“I was just talking to her last night, and I understand that people have different opinions, and I’m not trying to justify any of her actions. But from what I’ve seen, it’s like she’s been cyberbullied, and at the end of the day, all I know is that West is a man who plays multiple women at the same time.”
“Amanda knows what she did was wrong and is trying to accept that. She is not in a good place,” Cook concluded.
As for Ms Miller, 30, she has unfollowed both Batula and Wilson, 31, on social media and is shocked by the news as she and her ex-boyfriend reportedly “got hooked up” just weeks before he admitted to being romantically involved with Batula.
Minutes after Batula and Wilson posted their shocking statements, Page Six exclusively obtained photos of the model lying on the street in New York.
Meanwhile, we hear that Wilson was in an “exclusive” relationship with another woman named Maya Moreno when his secret romance with Batula was exposed.
