The Chilean Juntos Films has formed a strategic partnership with Bandada, the new label of former Fabra executive Daniel Castel. The move will strengthen scripted content slates for platforms across the Spanish-speaking market worldwide, while also establishing the exclusiveness of all series moving forward. This includes first look transactions between two companies, including both scripted feature films and non-fiction series.
Juntos Partners Francisco Hervé and Moisés Sepúlveda are participating in showrunner workshops at the Madrid Confive Iberseries & Platino Industrial, using the series project “Culpables Inocentes.”
Hervé, one of Juntos Films’ three partners, “has built a reputation with films designed to entertain, move, and spark reflections. “Our focus is always on marrying streamlined production processes and powerful creative developments, and this new alliance opens the door to bringing that philosophy to the premium series,” he added.
The credits include The Fabulous Gold Harvesting Machine, which was praised by Alfredo Pouley, who shot some of the best films in Guadalajara, Sanfic and Lima in 2024. “Bitter Gold” by Juan Olea, who was awarded in Warsaw and was selected in Cairo and India last year. The documentary “The Other One” won the Best Film in the Burning Lights section at Visions du Réel 2020. “Immersion” is a thriller by Nico Postiglione, multiple winners of Guadalajara and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Worldwide.
For Castel, who spent nearly a decade as a creative producer of Pablo and Juan de Dios Laline’s Fabra before establishing Bandada, the partnership shows logical progression in his career. During his time at Fabra, he played a key role in the evolution of the company’s television division. From serving only the Chilean market to landing original scripted content on international streaming platforms within five years.
His credits include Apple TV+’s “Midnight Family.” Based on the Spanish co-production, Long Petals of the Sea, and the novel by Isabel Allende, the filming date and platform have not yet been set. Netflix Originals “Baby Bandito” and “Homemade”. Amazon Prime Video’s “Pack” and “President” and Spotify’s audio originals “Quemar Tu Casa” and “Creepyhunters” were both created by highly acclaimed Scribe Julio Rojas (“Case 63”).

With Castell installed, Juntos is poised to expand his footprint with the Premium Series, leveraging his track record and global experience to develop IPS at a massive appeal.
